PDP wins all 18 LGAs in Edo council elections

In the Edo State local government election held on Saturday, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP, won all 18 local government areas.

According to Channels Television, the results issued by the state independent electoral commission showed that the PDP won all local government areas in the state.

On Saturday, elections were held in all of the state’s local government areas.

Aside from the PDP, the Labour Party, the LP, and the All Progressives Congress, the APC was among the major political parties that ran candidates for chairmanship and councillorship in all wards.

The APC and the LP had not published an official statement on the election results at the time of filing this story.
