Davido decides between Ronaldo and Messi

Nigerian music icon Davido chose Cristiano Ronaldo over Lionel Messi as the best football player of all time.

Following his performance at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Davido made another high-profile appearance at the 2023 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards.

With all eyes on him, the DMW boss claimed that while he likes both of them, he personally prefers Ronaldo.

He said, “Cristiano for me, you know, what outcomes, very, very disciplined,

“I am a very, very disciplined person, you know, and to have that kind of success and to be so disciplined at the same time is something I’ve always admired about him.

“I like both of them. But, I personally, I’m a Ronaldo guy.”

Messi is favourite to win this year’s Ballon d’Or award for a record-extending eighth time, while Ronaldo has won it seven times and didn’t make the 30-man shortlist this time around.
