After departing from New Delhi, India, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will meet with the leadership of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) during a technical stopover in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The meeting will serve as a follow-up discussion to address specific, pressing concerns in the bilateral relationship following discussions held during a recent visit by the UAE Ambassador to the President at the State House in Abuja, according to a statement from his media assistant, Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday.

Ngelale stated that the President will address unresolved bilateral matters while making the most of the stopover to equally progress his investment promotion goals with high-level representatives from the United Arab Emirates’ governmental and commercial sectors.

“Following a successful investment drive on the sidelines of the G-20 Summit, active participation in the G-20 Summit, and a productive stopover in the UAE, the President is expected to return to Abuja immediately following the bilateral engagement,” the statement added.

Recall that Tinubu had been in India, where he attended this year’s G-20 summit, deployed to woo Indian investors to Nigeria.
